*After the incident with Yuya, Yugo was the first to get back home and he made sure to go straight into the house to inform their parents about what happened.
Unknown to Yugo, Yoko and Yushou, Yuto was stood in the hallway by the door that lead to the living room and kitchen. He overheard Yugo telling their parents about what happened with Yuya. How apparently some girl, who somehow knew about the whole Z-ARC thing, had messed with his head pretty bad over it. He explained how Yuya was in a really bad emotional state when he found him, but he managed to calm him down by talking to him and he was now on his way home with Yuzu.
Yuto retreated back to his bedroom after that, quietly closing the door behind him.
The guilt began clutching at his chest as he realized that Yuya wouldn't have been put in that vulnerable position in the first place if he'd been able to control his anger and not driven his brother out of the house.
In the days that followed, Yuto continued to avoid his family. At night, he couldn't sleep, so instead, he went out after everyone else had gone to bed and just wandered around Maiami City. He had no idea why... maybe it was just to clear his head a little, but maybe part of him was also looking for this girl who had messed with Yuya, though he had no idea what he'd do if he did come across her. He wasn't really in a good state to duel her or anything.
His nightly ventures hadn't gone unnoticed. The doorbell on the door of the Sakaki household had a camera, which briefly recorded any movement near to it, so it had recorded the times Yuto left the house and returned which Yoko had taken notice of. He always came back, which was a relief, but after what happened with Yuya, she was a little concerned with him going out late at night in a vulnerable state.
One night, Yuto found himself wandering around Maiami City park. It was quiet here in the very early hours of the morning, with almost nobody about.
As he walked into a clearing, he suddenly felt a spell of dizziness, so he quickly found the nearest bench to sit down.
Giving out a tired sigh, he held his head while he let the dizziness pass. He really hadn't had much sleep at all and his body was beginning to let him know it. He made a mental note to himself that once the dizzy spell was gone, he really should start heading home...*

After a minute you register what the sculpture is... It vaguely looks like someone with Dark Rebellion attacking three persons who are unprotected.::

*He feels pretty unnerved when he sees what she is carving.
Why would she be carving something like that, of all things?
He immediately began getting suspicious of her as he stands back, watching her chisel away at the ice.*
no subject
Those look like Academia soldiers.::
no subject
....
*Oh this was really unnerving... but, he was pretty convinced now that this is the mystery girl Yuya encountered.
But how would she know about Z-ARC and how would she know about Academia...?
He takes a deep breath and starts walking towards her.*
no subject
That's your hair on the one ordering what will be Dark Rebellion.::
no subject
*He probably should just turn and leave. It was obvious she was going to try to mess with him like she did with Yuya, but against his better judgement, he continues walking towards her. He felt tense though as he did. He had no idea what this girl was planning.
But he wanted answers on who she was and why she knew so much.*
no subject
::Turns to you, smiling like we're the oldest of friends.::
no subject
I'm not Z-ARC.
And I think you know too much.
You're the girl who messed with Yuya, right? Who are you exactly?
no subject
::Gently rubbing the statue with gloves.::
And of course you're you.
no subject
Not anymore, anyway.
My question is how you know of Z-ARC... *He glances over at the ice sculpture.* ... and of Academia.
no subject
::Widely spreads her arms.::
no subject
Look. I have no idea exactly what you've been told by this friend of yours, but we are no longer Z-ARC.
It's true we were shards of Z-ARC once and... things happened, but we aren't anymore. We're individual people now.
no subject
And how long do you think it'll last?
no subject
'Wakahisa Noriko's grand spell?'
What do you mean by that?
*He recognised the name. He was pretty sure she was part of a faculty at Duel Academy at some point, and he's seen her name mentioned around the community numerous times, but he wasn't sure who she was beyond that.*
no subject
::Snorts, chiseling in focused, determined, hateful eyes into your doppelganger.::
no subject
So you're saying this 'Wakahisa Noriko' is the one who... changed things? To what they are now? They're why we have memories of two different lives? Why things don't... match up?
*He has a very uncomfortable and confused look on his face as he thinks this through. It would explain a lot of things. It was obvious someone or something changed the reality they lived in...but...*
no subject
Writing this fiction.
::Waves her hand.::
no subject
*Yuto looks visibly shaken, but he trying hard to remain composed.
Though there was a nagging thought at the back of his head, questioning if this is why his memories of Academia, and the invasion on Heartland, were stronger and more vivid than the memories he had growing up with his brothers.*
... Even if this reality was created, it makes it no less real!
It's just as real as anything else!
My brothers and I, we... we aren't Z-ARC! We're a family...!
We'll NEVER be Z-ARC again!
no subject
None of this should exist and everything should be ash and snow! Forever and ever and ever!
But don't worry, we'll fix this!
We'll make sure you're all Z-ARC again!
::She giggles and titters.::
no subject
WHY in the HELL would you even want that!?
*He seems to be getting angry with her.*
Z-ARC isn't something that should EVER be brought back!!
no subject
no subject
Z-ARC ISN'T THE REAL ME!
I'M THE REAL ME!
I have absolutely NOTHING to do with Z-ARC anymore!
*You have to wonder if he really believes what he's saying, or if he's saying it to try and convince himself of these words.
Either way, he seems growing VERY agitated over it.*
no subject
::Nervous chuckle.::
no subject
NO! I just! I'm just...!
*He frantically rubs his head with his hands as his movements get more erratic as he feels the pent up anger building.*
I'm just SICK of that past controlling me!
Z-ARC! Academia! I'm tired of those memories coming back and HAUNTING ME ALL THE TIME!
I'm sick of being reminded about them! Not being able to sleep because of them! Of them ALWAYS being there in the back of my mind!!
I just...!
I JUST WANT THEM TO GO AWAY!!
*As he yells the last sentence, he lifts up his hand, balled into a fist and swings it hard. It comes fairly close to Wintyr, but he actually hits the ice sculpture that's behind her.*
no subject
... Creepy!
What would that have done if it hit me!
::She's disgusted and freaked out.::
no subject
*Breathing heavily, Yuto slowly looked down at his hand that hit the sculpture. It looked incredibly sore and was bleeding a bit, but he honestly couldn't even feel the pain right now.
He was too much in shock from what just happened.*
I... I didn't mean...
I wasn't going to...
I...

HELP! HELP! OFFICER, I'M BEING ATTACKED!
::A blonde woman in Sector Security clothes hears and then starts racing to the scene. Maybe you should run, Yuto, Japanese cops don't have guns, she does look encumbered.::
no subject
*The moment Yuto hears Wintyr yell and the cop start running towards them, his 'fight or flight' mode landed on 'flight' as he bolts it from the scene as fast as he can.*
no subject
no subject
*Yuto runs and runs and runs, even long after he'd lost the cop had been chasing him.
Eventually, he becomes too fatigued to carry on, so he gradually slows down while gasping for air, both from the run and the panic he was still feeling.
But that panic worsened when he heard the sound of a motorbike and saw headlights moving towards him, but he was simply too fatigued to move...*
no subject
Yuto!
Are you okay? I've been looking all over for you.
no subject
*Although Yuto was relieved it was his mother and not a cop on a motorbike or anything, the irrational part of his brain was still in overdrive.
He didn't want her to know about what happened. He didn't want to risk the chance he'd hurt her. He felt so unstable and so... scared of himself.
He began backing off and then attempted to run.*
no subject
Yuto! Stop!
*Quickly she reaches out and grabs Yuto by his arm.*
What's gotten into you?
no subject
M-Mom, let go!
I don't want to risk hurting you!
Just let me go!
*Yuto attempted to struggle free from her, but she had a pretty firm grip on his arm.*
no subject
You're not going to hurt me!
*Yuto continued to struggle in her grasp, so in a desperate attempt to stop him, she managed to grab his other arm and restrained both of them.*
Yuto! STOP IT!
no subject
*Hearing the harsh tone in his mother's voice, Yuto suddenly stops struggling and stays still, other than his panicked, erratic breathing.*
no subject
Seeing just how panicked he was, she switched to talking gently with him again.*
Alright. I want you to follow my breathing, okay?
*She took a slow, deep breath in, then let it out slowly.*
no subject
*As Yoko breathed in and out deeply, Yuto slowly began matching it, which helped to calm his panicked breathing down a little.
After a while, Yuto's legs simply gave way and he fell to his knees where he was.*
no subject
Yuto winced a little when she touched it, which told her that it was just as painful as it looked.
Looking up at him, she noticed he was looking away from her, so gently, she reached out with her hand and placed it on the side of his face, which made him look over at her.*
Yuto. What happened?
no subject
There was this girl.
She kept talking to me like I was Z-ARC. She said she wanted to bring Z-ARC back.
I was angry with it and...
*A pained expression appeared on his face as he stopped as he fought back the overwhelming feeling of wanting to just break down.*
I don't know what's happening to me...!
no subject
She felt she probably wouldn't get much more out of him at the moment, he was too upset, so instead, she pulled him into a firm hug.*
No matter what is happening, or what will happen, we'll figure it out together, alright?
Whatever you're feeling right now, don't hold it back.
Just let it out.
no subject
*Hearing his mother's comforting words, tears began forming in Yuto's eyes as he lost the battle to keep them back. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly and buried his face into her shoulder, allowing himself to cry into it.*
