[Closed Event] Apology

*It had been a few weeks since Yuya and Yuto's argument, which lead to them being targeted by a girl, named Wintyr the Wonderlande, someone who possibly was working alongside Hibiki, who played on their vulnerabilities and traumatic memories.
Due to them both healing mentally from those encounters, especially Yuto, the two boys hadn't been able to talk their issues through with each other, even though both wished to apologize to one another.

Finally, once he was feeling a little more emotionally and mentally stable, Yuto had suggested to Yuya that they could go to a café together to talk things through, and then go on a small shopping trip to find presents for Yuzu and Ruri's birthdays which were coming up soon.

Heading into a small café in Maiami City, both boys got drinks and sat down opposite each other at a table by the window. There was an awkward silence between them both as neither were sure how to start the conversation.*

I'm not blameless in this either.

I should have been more forthright with you and explained to you why the glitter bomb prank was bothering me so much, rather than expecting you to know why.
I shouldn't have kept how I was feeling completely to myself and let my feelings build up until they exploded.

I feel ashamed about how aggressive I was towards you, and guilty that it's what led to you leaving the house and being targeted by that girl that day.

So, I'm really sorry too.
I should've opened up to you more.

I guess we both have things to learn from this, huh.

Yeah. We do.

There's things I plan to work on, and things I want to work on, but I'm not sure how yet, but... I dunno...
I just kinda... scared myself, with how easily I was getting angry with things and quickly losing my cool. I know it's because of what I was going through, but...

*He looks down at the drink in front of him with a worried frown.*

... I don't want it to happen again.

I guess you can start by doing what you said.
If you feel frustrated or not happy with something, talk to someone.

*He then removed his hand to awkwardly rub the back of his head.*

Though, sometimes I'm kinda bad at talking about things when I'm bothered by something too...

*He took another drink of his cappuccino as he pondered on something.*

Speaking of talking about things, we probably need to discuss this whole thing with 'Wintyr' and... Hibiki... I believe?

You've been quite worried about it right? Enough that you almost didn't go to that Halloween party the other week.

*Yuya was taking a drink of his hot chocolate, but paused and placed the drink down when he heard Yuto mention this, his face falling a little.*

Yeah.

Wintyr was actually there at the party. She saw me and started telling some story about not trusting dragons or something. I knew she was doing it to get to me, just in a subtle way.

I kinda panicked a little and Yuzu was able to get me out of there and calm me down.

I just...
I just have a really bad feeling about all this.

Can you tell me a little more about this 'Hibiki' that she's possibly working for?

I think I remember you saying this person targeted you when you were at Duel Academy?

Yeah. He put together a group called 'Desperado' that targeted me and Yuma.

He has some kind of prophecy book that was written by his late mother. In it there's some passage or something that goes on about how two kings with medallions would end the world or something like that and he thought it was referring to us.

He used this group to try and make us leave Duel Academy, though things kinda escalated pretty badly after a while.

After everything ended, I know Hibiki still believed in that prophecy, but we seemed on okay terms with him. Not friends, just... okay.

But if he's gone completely off the deep end, then I'm worried about how far he'll take this. They could even go after the girls, or mom and dad to try and get to us.

Hmm, and from what I've seen Serena mention, this Hibiki also had a lot of research material to do with Z-ARC. Adding that onto what you've experienced with him before and what Wintyr has said to us, I think it's obvious that he feels the world should've ended with Z-ARC and isn't happy that what actually happened didn't fit with this so called 'prophecy' he believes in.

So now, I guess, they want to bring back Z-ARC and end the world according to that script.

Which is weird since his whole thing back then was apparently trying to stop 'the end of the world', or whatever.

*He gives out a sigh.*

I really hope it's not possible, if that's what they're aiming for, but I'm worried they've found a way to make us Z-ARC again or something...

I really don't want that to happen again.

I don't think any of us want that to happen again.

*Yuto gives out a heavy breath.*

I can't say I'm not worried about it too, or that I've not had my worries about Z-ARC myself... but, since we can exist together like this... I believe we're not bound by that fate anymore and I'm willing to fight to prove that what life we're living now, we have the right to live it and believe in it.

Yeah. I'm want to protect that too.

I guess for now, we'll just have to tread carefully and make sure there aren't ways for them to mess with us and get in our heads.

*Yuto gave a nod in agreement.*

I think for now, we should try to avoid being in secluded places on our own and try to have someone else with us if possible, to make it harder for them to single us out.

Everyone we know is aware of the issue. Yugo and Yuri are also aware and know to be careful, so we're prepared if they try anything with the four of us, or anyone we directly know.
