*So, Mr. Heartland. For a while now, you've had the feeling that someone has been following you. Maybe you haven't been too worried? After all, nobody can really get to you and maybe you lose the pursuer pretty quickly.
Only now that dark clothed pursuer, wearing a mask, is lurking around outside your ritzy office, staying out of view of the goons guarding the entrance, but keeping a VERY close eye on them.
What do you do?*

::The goons at the entrance of the building look like real bad hombres, made of more muscle than brains and even with your talents, could give you a real bad time if you messed with them.::
no subject
::On the other hand, this steel sword suddenly against your neck isn't going to be a real good time either.::
no subject
*The mysterious dark clad figure tenses up as the sword touches their neck, but otherwise, they don't make a sound or movement. Their eyes behind the goggles move slowly to the side, trying to catch a view of whoever it was that was now holding a sword up to them and whether there was any opening to take advantage of to escape.*

::It's an incredibly tiny-ish man dressed in make-shift ninja style clothes and body bandages, with a pair of goggle-glasses.::
Now what are you doing, skulking around here?
no subject
*He decides against making any rash movements. Besides, this could be the only way in. There was no way he was going to get past the goons guarding the entrance easily.*
I need to speak with Heartland.
no subject
Funny. He wants to speak to you too, kid.
no subject
Take me to him.
no subject
Sure. Enjoy the nap you're about to have.
no subject
*As much as he needed to speak with Heartland, he didn't like the sound of that threat. The figure moves fast hoping to take the guy out before he tries something, ducking below the sword and trying to take out the guys legs with a kick.*

::The insect-like Ninja man quickly darts back, melting into an insect like monster man, who quickly pulls out a small sphere, crushing it.::
::At the same time he darts up to pull your mouth/nose guard down/flip it up, to let the gas flowing from the crushed sphere to get into your mouth.::
no subject
*He stumbles backwards, gagging, as the gas fills his lungs. Soon after, he felt himself starting to get drowsy and everything around him began spinning. Despite his best efforts to try and stay conscious, he soon crumples to the floor.*
no subject
::He lifts you over his arm, carrying you in.::
no subject
::As you wake up from the chemical concoction, you find Heartland standing over you.::
My dear boy, I must say, you look absolutely awful.
Which is better than what I was expecting.
no subject
*As Yuto comes round, he blinks a few times to try and clear the grogginess from his eyes. Once he comes to his senses a bit more and sees Heartland standing over him, he attempts to quickly get to his feet, but the lingering effects of the chemical that knocked him out makes him stumble.
Crouched on the floor, he holds his head for a moment, letting the dizziness pass, before looking up at Heartland.*
I'd assumed Academia had carded you.
*Yuto seems to state this as a cold fact.
Once the dizziness had passed completely, he slowly stands to his feet and glances silently around the room, curious as to where he was.*
no subject
I guess you could say I felt my HEART BURNING!
But the honest fact of the matter is I left for a meeting I needed to handle elsewhere. That's all that saved me. Boring old bureaucratic matters, my boy.
no subject
*Yuto's expression stays stone cold as Heartland speaks, though inside, he cringed a little bit at that 'Heart Burning!'*
Then I have some questions for you, father.
How did you get to this dimension?
And why is there a second Heartland City here?
no subject
The same way you did, I presume. I leaped between worlds. And as to why there's a second...
Well, to answer that question, you'd be better off asking a man named Dr. Faker. Or his son, Tenjo Kaito.
no subject
*Yuto takes a mental note of those names. Maybe this 'Dr. Faker' or 'Tenjo Kaito' would know more if he fails to get any useful information out of Heartland.*
Academia targeted the second Heartland that exists here in this dimension as well.
Were you present for that?
no subject
::When did this boy get so damned smart.::
No.
no subject
*Yuto's eyes narrow as suspicion creeps onto his face.*
So you were conveniently not present for either of the attacks.
I found an article on you. You were the mayor of the city here as well.
It said you're supposedly fundraising to re-build the city here, that from my understanding, had a very small amount of known survivors.
Yet you did nothing to help those who survived in the Heartland City you left behind. You never came back.
And even though you knew about the first attack, the low amount of survivors here tells me nothing was put in place to protect those who lived in this second city.
*Yuto was bitter. Part of him felt he should of expected it. That Heartland had found a way to save himself and abandon them, but the fact that a second Heartland City he was also mayor of, that was in another dimension, was also targeted felt suspicious to him.
He didn't believe for a moment that Heartland was fundraising for that city out of kindness, after he abandoned those in the first city.
Yuto paused for a moment before his eyes narrowed further at his 'father'.*
What do you know about Academia.
no subject
The only Academia I know is that island playground for rich kids.
But we have so much catching up to do, my dear boy.
no subject
*Yuto's expression doesn't move.
He was sure that Heartland knew more than he was letting on, but it seemed like he was not going to get anything more out of him.
With that, Yuto turns and starts walking towards the door.*
I have more important things to do.
no subject
And I'm your father, and I'm saying you're going to be staying.
::Quietly hits a silent alarm switch.::
no subject
*Realising Heartland's intent, Yuto attempts to make a dash for the door.*
no subject
::On the other side of the door are a lot of bald overly thick and beefy goons whose shoulders probably reach into two separate area codes.::
no subject
Tch.
*Yuto quickly jumps backwards before they can grab him and looks towards Heartland, anger on his face.*
Why do you want to keep me here? We're of no use to each other anymore.
no subject
I simply wish to make up for lost time.
::Pressing his glasses up so they shine white.::
no subject
*Yuto's eyes narrow as he silently backs up, looking from Heartland to the goons approaching him.
He didn't know what Heartland's real intention was for him, but he couldn't let himself be captured here.
As quick as a flash, he activates his duel disk and places a card onto it. A strong and very real feeling wind whips around the room as a large dark coloured dragon appears. It lets out a roar as Yuto quickly jumps onto it, before it smashes through the wall with ease and takes off into the sky.
I hope you like Dark Rebellion's re-modelling, Heartland, because your office has been left looking like QUITE the wreck.*
